With 1,2 million residents and counting, Prague has endured not one, but two World Wars. Not only did Prague survive, but also they are the reason for this unique multi-style architecture that make up Prague’s beautiful skyline.

Prague’s historic part has been a World Heritage Site since 1992!
Prague is ideal for long strolls across the river and into the cobbled streets, where one can admire a magnificent bunch of renaissance, gothic, rococo, baroque and art nouveau buildings. Your stay in Prague comes with elegant architecture, mouthwatering Czech cuisine, a rich and diverse nightlife and as much Czech beer as you can drink! Famous brands like Urquell, Budvar, Staropramen are here, however it’s worth tasting some traditional Czech beer, made in small local breweries.

Prague Guide

Take a long walk and discover every inch of the magical streets and alleys of Prague. Watch the Astronomical Clock show and admire the panoramic view from the top of the Old Town Hall and then head to the Old Town’s collection of museums.

A short stop to catch your breath and sip some coffee in Nové Město and you can continue to the Jewish Quarter, with its historic synagogues and the famous Jewish Cemetery, the only place where the Jewish community was allowed to bury its people, for more than 300 years.

Walk by the river and, just a few metres from the modern “Dancing House”, you will come across Charles Bridge. The entrance is majestic but don’t stay too long there. The crossing of Charles Bridge is a must experience in Prague! You might be accompanied by many other visitors and tourists that had the exact same idea as you, but the glory of the 30 statues and figures that guard your way, will soon make you forget all about the crowds.

Next stop is Prague Castle, where the extraordinary St Vitus Cathedral will have you speechless. You can enjoy your day admiring all the beautiful palaces and gardens that encircle the cathedral or you can continue to the Petřín Hill, climb up the observation tower – a mini version of Tour Eiffel – and watch the stars at the Štefánik's Observatory.

When the sun is about to set, don’t miss out on a river cruise, it will bring out the most romantic of yourself!

Whether you choose one of the hotels in Prague Old Town, or decide to rent a room in Prague New Town, you can easily reach practically every corner of the city on foot – and we sure advise you to do so.

If you feel comfortable with spending more money, you can always pick a hotel in Prague Castle, and live your own fairy tale in Prague.

The official language is Czech. Most of the locals speak at least some basic English, but they would always welcome a warm dobrý den (good morning) by the visitors!
